Hi lcd32bit - thanks for your kind comments. I did not hike in from the Volcanoes NP(longer route). I went in from Kalapana area (shorter route but through private lands). The sight, sounds, (and smell - sulfuric) were something to remember. Regards!

Hi Mark - thanks for viewing and commenting. I do have another version with slightly lower saturation. In this version I tried to emphasize the outline of a Polynesian face that I saw on the black lava rock (on the right side of the lava). BTW, your images are very beautiful and dynamics.
