This was a little girl who wandered over to our camp while we were trekking in the Tsum Valley of Nepal.

Forgive me for indulging the urge to tell a picture story...

We were trekking in a rather out of the way part of Nepal (only open to Westerners for the past 2-3 years).

We were off the main trail camping in a meadow. Shortly after setting up camp a group of rather dirty but very polite & curious children showed up with their siblings. (The little toddler's dad showed up later, quite intoxicated... the other kids seemed to be looking out for her.)

One of our members pulled out his iPhone provoking great interest on the part of the older boys.

The little toddler girl was getting sleepy & one of our members couldn't help giving her a little cuddle. She promptly fell asleep in his arms.
