DP1m with the Ricoh GW3.
Too bad, it resulted in smeared corners.
Would have been wonderful if it could be used to give 21mm w/o issues. (which it does on the GR)
I left a full sized sample on my flickr for those interested on how much utility one can get from this combi.
I found the same with my DP1m, tried all the various wide angle convertors and while many gave great centers, they just all had pretty smeared corners. In the end seemed like about a 24mm equiv after cropping off the bad parts.
I'm hoping a new lens design on the Dp1 Quattro might work better.
In the meantime, I've been using the GR, which while not having M level of detail, still renders pretty sharp and well across the frame.
Juju some questions
Do you or have you used a Genie or some other form of Magic?
Did this one photo take a whole wish or did you just apply the wish to your exceptionally skills as a whole?
Is their a queue for the lamp when done?
If you claim no magic was involved then…
All I can say is Wow! that is exceptional.
And i will keep my doubts to a hushed murmur.
Take no offense I mean it all in kind but I do believe that If I post more images,
it will only make your images look even better.

instimitic, I feel embarrassed somewhat. I did like these phot's from this morning, but not sure they that good. Lest say i'd like to do better and improve.
You ask about the genie? Yes there was. Last night or yesterday I looked through flickr at quite a few photographers work. I got reminded from several images I saw that what I like about photography is the light, the colour and tones you get from great light almost regardless of subject. So thanks to those photographs I remembered this morning to consider that aspect above all else. Always and without doubt , all and every photograph I have taken that I feel ok about and that is only small percentage, they are all taken in great light. Early morning or evening. I do believe it is that simple, at least as a starting point. So the above if ok, is because of the postings of others to remind me as I have done but got out the routine, to photograph in better light. So I thank them.
By the way, you also do yourself a disservice to your own abilities, you must post more.
I appreciate your reply. I am often inspired by others work also. Quite often it is yours.
Self-deprecating humor aside I find it interesting to think that the same picture that I may marvel at you felt unsure about. I feel that way often. I have found it is quite often that we are our own harshest critics.
I have to say also, juju, that you have quite a knack for finding great light and subject matter. I too find inspiration from your images.
There are lots of inspiring photographers on this forum, so all in all it is all good. I rarely post responses but spend a lot of time looking and going out and trying to do better.

I will continue to post as I Can.
I think that is very true and we rarely give ourselves a pat on the back. I certainly struggle to believe I am good at anything and admire , look and see others work here and try to take away some ideas. Not to copy but to remember, or to be reminded of the essence of what it is about. I clearly remember chatting to other a while ago explaining how I took a raw file into the software and clicked the auto buttons to process everything. I also did not shoot into the sun and obeyed those silly so called rules. Yet that is one of the greatest joys I find with digital camera's is the freedom to make as many mistakes as you like , without adding cost or worrying about buying the next roll of film. It does mean you can learn so much faster. As a youngster I did a fine art degree in painting & sculpting and the language and approach is very different to photography, as are the tools. Yet the process of the mind and getting immersed are very similar, although i still find the medium of photography being more limiting, yet that in itself can be a positive thing by having closer boundaries to work within, which creates a stronger focus sometimes.
Tons of great shots in this thread. I hope you guys keep posting. I just got the quattro and like it a lot, though it has it's quicks. I really like the color straight from the camera.
