I've always been fascinated by the "bristly" texture of cat tongues. I very much enjoy the sensation of being licked by my cat (or anyone, for that matter). DP3M with bounce flash off the ceiling, ISO-250, f/3.2, 1/1250 sec.
Thanks. The above is From a gateway I pass quite often, stop and aquire an image or two. It is was a pano I think about eight images. I'd have liked it less prickly, it looks over sharp but did not sharpen it. Noticed this on one or two of my latest B+W so need to be a bit more careful.

I just came back from the lab. Wanted to see on which paper I want to print my 'timeless' (long-exposure portraits) series.
For comparing I ordered prints on 30/45cm and 50/75cm. I am blown away with the results. Quality is really amazing.
I doubt that my D700+zeiss lenses looks as good on 50/75.
I was always excellently surprised when I have printed from any camera, just how good large prints can be. The DP3 certainly has for my taste a wonderful colour rendition. I certainly would not complain if given a D700 and Zeiss lens either
