Haven't had much time for photography recently, and a couple of hard disk crashes have caused some pain, but glad to see Julian is keeping the thread alive.
My Ferrari (Dino) 308GT4 stripped back to metal prior to repainting in Silver
Been a while since I posted anything here, also been a while since i've used a sigma camera. I thought i'd post a shot of a recent project I just finished where I used the DP2Q.. They look like pretty standard landscape shots with out any context but are meant to act like windows in the room. The shots are from the southern tip of Kodiak Island, a very wild place. In both landscapes you can see petroglyphs that have been carved into the granite. The black and white in the middle are close up of some of the petroglyphs. The larger panels are 90 inches tall by 40 inches wide. Also the middle shots are are 48inches tall by 28 wide. I think the DP2Q did a great job. I choose it over the d800e and was very happy with the results. The landscapes were a five shot vertical panorama. Anyway you can walk right up to the prints and they hold up very well. I only had my phone with me tonight but will post a close up if people are interested. The DP2Q and DP2M are by far my favorite camera for making prints from. There is just something about how render images that translate very well to printing. I do not hesitate to print 50inches wide from single 15 mega pixel DP2M shots.
