Headed up to the Central Coast with our incredible non-winter here in California.
Both are from Montana del Oro State Park
Converted in DPP, vertical is a minor crop, really pleased with the DR with the camera, there is lots of detail in the white foamy water and the dark areas, too.
The Vista House at Crown Point in the Columbia River Gorge. It was a minor miracle capturing it with no tourists or vehicles in the frame! Taken with the DP2M on a tripod in heavy wind.
I haven't used my Sigma SD9 ... the original Foveon camera ... in about 10 years! Yesterday was the first really warmish day where I live, with lots of blue sky and white snow piled high. My wife and I went for a walk, and I took my SD9 along. It's still a very impressive camera! There are Foveon enthusiasts who consider the colors and overall tonality coming out of the SD9 to be the best of all the Foveons, save the latest Merrills. In any event, I just might take this camera out a little more often on days like this. All images shot with the Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 OS.
