Juju,
Your last few images have a very wonderful intimistic property to them.
Much more then any of my recent and it is my screen name.
Definition
intimism / intimistic
(art) A genre of art (or literature) involving the depiction of quiet, domestic scenes, usually of domestic interiors
Well Pierre Bonnard comes to mind, although I do not favour impressionism can nevertheless appreciate the qualities. These last images are of my innermost and for myself a place where I crawled on those stone floors and learnt to walk. The blown out parts although accidental as they are, I new they would be there, but for me make the image quality a more distant look as in time.

We plough a lonely furrow in this thread.
It has bit a bit lonely around here as of late.
Honestly though I think it will increasingly dwindle as more people move on to newer cameras.
They were a niche camera to begin with.
I have had my DP2M for 2 years now.
So now they are an older niche camera.
Some times it seems only the newest is discussed and fussed about.
I have not seen many posts for the Quattro's.
Can not say for sure but, My guess is the Quattro's have not been as popular.
I am not sure what I will go to next, but I will keep shooting with my DP2M until it breaks at least for the foreseeable future.
With the DP2M I use better effort and technique.
With other cameras it is so easy to neglect to put that same effort in.
The results are amazing and I still feel I have much to learn.
I have seen improvement in my efforts thus far.
I find posting does help motivate me to actually process some of my images.
I guess if you keep posting I will keep posting.
I do look forward to seeing what you have seen and choose to share.
It is a window into a distance world.
Oh and I don't get out much.

yes you are correct, most in this forum move to the next iteration which I think is good , not only can we see, albeit through others eyes what the latest offering as well as the quality. I'd certainly have got the Sony A7s if I could justify it, plus the Ricoh GR. Yet I cannot see myself leaving the Merrill's behind and will probably always use them along side any thing else I have at the time. It is the camera I get the most satisfaction in use of any I have.
I am also limited to getting out, but when I do try and make the most of it.
