There is only one word for this photo and that is stunning. I admire you and all photographers who trek to the top of mountains and other places to bring back "home" images that many would never see. For that, I say thank you.

Epic as always! Is this a reprocess of an old shot, or just a different image from the same morning? I swear you used to have a really bright version from here before too that was one of my faves of yours.
Love the story. Love the shot. The lighting and tones is all perfect. I agree with the previous poster about the composition and wanting to see a bit more to the right, but this also adds an element of the unknown and makes me keep looking for a bit longer.
That is an interesting story and I'm glad you didn't catch yourself on fire. The coyotes were interesting read. But that shot is amazing. That should be printed huge on your wall or posted for sale for others to put on their wall because it's worthy of that. I really like the stillness, the mood, and those stunning colors. That is a great shot and one of the best I've seen of that mountain.
The way the light is hitting everything in this photograph, is simply amazing! Must have been some beautiful country to walk around in to say the least.
