John, if I have had budget to buy gear to do this kind of shoot under water I would.. much more fun and less hassle. Before I started to do the project I studioet a lot of underwater shoots, and one of the things I noticed, is that a lot of them don't have bubbles around the garmit. Mostly when I build setup like this, I try to create a fiction, a fantasy.
I was hoping for some editing tips, and not expensive shooting tips :P
Thank you all
Very good Devisor. Clearly I am the odd man out as this project is getting great reception from the forum. You're always very good at what you do.
With only six votes you're the winner this week, boy you lot are picky! Artist intent is just that. When a photographer displays an image to his peers and invites criticism, it magically transforms into art because art is and always will be a personal point of view. Being there during the production stages, as we all know, is the only way the value of true criticism can effect the outcome. Its that ever shifting line between "Photography being Art". The mechanics of photography can be dismantle, art is very intangible.
If this is a personal assignment, then now you have more than 90% of your goal and less than 10% to persuade a client to fund the budget, if this is your goal.
You've presented this work, I say extremely well done! If you have taken it as far as your "post" skills can achieve and welcome further input, may I suggest contacting the likes of phlearn.com for appraisal and advanced post techniques.
