Gary, the composition is really good. But I feel that you processed this a little to far. I know how it goes when you push your contrast and saturation a little beyond the point. You blow things out and it kind of " bleeds ". I'm talking about the sky, particularly above the center mountain and extending to the left. But it's also in the water. Kind of feel that you damaged the detail by working that.
I could be wrong, but is their detail there in you original raw ?
Hey Brian. Really appreciate the honest fb - thank you. I will revisit the original RAW and have another look... I think I pulled back the highlights (just a tad) in the sky which may have contributed to this effect. I also just did a quick test print on my home printer this morning and it looks great - even the area in question. In theory, it should look the same in print but this particular area seems a bit different. Maybe I need to explore the world of calibration.... Thanks again.
Gary. Sorry I missed your post. Been busy at work and play. Nice colors and composition. If you are out and see a orange 4 door jeep, thats mine. Hopefully we can say hello sometime.
