Last night going through some of my external hard drives, I came upon this shooting outing from several years ago with my Canon 20D. Remember that camera Decided to rework this shot. It was a test run with my new 17-55 f/2.8 IS in early Fall on Rabbit Ears Pass near Steamboat where I'm at. The wild flowers were all but dead. The Bull Elk were starting to bugle all around, and a cold fog came up the mountain side. Aspen forests can be so hard to shoot, but the fog makes it so much easier and unreal.

Yo! I really like this image. I like the clarity at the beginning and the gradual fade caused by the fog. I think this image will look nice as a high contrast B&W also....
