Very impressive set of images Chris... I really enjoy the low eye level perspective that characterizes your work.
#1 is brilliant... love everything about it just as presented.
Next favorite is #3... great moment of intimacy with her little ones, and in a beautiful setting as a nice bonus.
Excellent work... I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the whole set.
I noticed that some are taken with Canon, others with Nikon. Did you pull a Scott Kelby?
Hi Bruno
Actually I was a Canon guy for about 10 years but when I lost my job and had to sell most of my gear it gave me the chance to try Nikon (after getting a new job) so I gave it a shot for a year and for me the only complaint I had where the ergonomics I just did not like how everything was set up.The Canon bodies are very well thought out to me.And thats my story :-)

Your comps are fun for me, sometimes showing going against the 'norm' can be very effective Chris
So #6 far right takes me a few moments to say........YES that works! How cool
And #8, I guess it is about the stick presenting the Duck and again the comp works for me
#1 Sheer elegance and class, lovely warmth, fantastic comp and image
#2 difficult low light to bring out any snap, a bit noisy for me on this one perhaps on BG
#3 Amazing processing. Appears as if you had a bounce fill on this shadowed side? How the heck did you get this one to look this exceptionally good with backlighting?? This one belongs on a Duck Stamp Chris or cover shot, darn cute and vibrant, love it man!
#4 wonderful
#5 excellent and I like the placement of subject here
#7 The light hit just right, does look like the legs were grafted to this stick though
#9 nice grab
#10 what wonderful golden light, such a classic pose too!
Wow, you have an amazing set here, thanks for the visual treats!

Hi Karl and thanks for your thoughts on all of the shots.
I did go back and took a look at #7 and really didn't see what you meant. I can tell you that he was not added to the branch.
I always appreciate honesty so thank you so much for your time and comments.
Chris...these are brilliant. I can't fathom why I didn't comment sooner. You have some wonderful action images, static images and intimate shots...the whole enchilada IMHO...bravo!
Eric
Chris, I too am waiting for their return, just a little east of you in Ontario. But a little more than a month with this winter.....get real! They'll be lucky and wise if they show up by April! Love your optimism!
Seriously, these are wonderful with #1 being my top pick. I can't wait to compare woody shots (sounds rude) this coming season!!!! Don
