p.1 #1 · Tundra Swan Soiree (14) | |
I went to the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area near Sacramento for the first outing of 2014. This area is a popular spot for wintering waterfowl.
The Tundra Swans were there in abundance, as well as a variety of other waterfowl, raptors, and shorebirds. I believe this was the first time I shot Tundras - so I got a little carried away (sorry for the big set!).
Most of these were shot with my 1DX and 800L, often with the 1.4x as well. The 500LII and 5D3 also saw some action.
Thanks for stopping by!
Jim
