I was definitely in the water anywhere from waist high to ankle high for about 3 hours. I'm really impressed with breathable waders I had some fleece pants on under them I don't ever recall my feet or legs getting cold

My hands were a different story though. I also had a ski mask on over my face I think that really helped as well. There was just so much mist!
