Thanks so much for all the kind words and feedback! All I can say was that I was very fortunate with the amount and quality of the wildlife I saw. I've been out there for longer periods and just never got as lucky with the wildlife as I did on this short trip. And I still have more images to get through (a good problem to have )
@m.sommers00 - Thanks - All of these were shot with a D4, 600mm, and most had a 1.4TC attached.
Fantastic images, makes me realise I need to get out more in my own part of the country. Thanks for listing the camera, lens, and TC info, I have the same set up and it's nice to see the 600mm TC combo produce such stunning work. Congrats on a great week!
I can't imagine how much better those would have looked had you used Canon gear............ oops, sorry.
That is some of the best wildlife photography I have seen in a long time. Even the lighting is good. Kudos to you for some fine work.
@Shepherd - This is my first year with the 600mm - I had a 500mm but wanted that extra 20%. I'm glad I did it, very happy with the lens and 1.4 works really well on it.
@Karl - I'll probably be posting here more often now - I was doing almost strictly landscape, but lately have been trying to do both. I've always enjoyed wildlife, just glad to be doing more of it now.
