It was my first visit to the Tombstone Mountains Range in Yukon. It was a week long solo trekking trip in these remote mountains. I took this photo on my second day. It was the only moment for the next few days when clouds opened showing a little of blue sky and sun. It was a spectacular display of colours illuminated by late sun. Grizzly lake at the end of the valley was my destination point for that day. This photo was taken from somewhat popular view point ( in summer), but I did not see any people during the entire trip. The beauty of these mountains is overwhelming and compensated the challenging conditions. It was very memorable trip for me. Enjoy.

Thanks Jason. It was fall everywhere else( this photo was taken Oct.1) but in Tombstone mountains winter came early. Next day all the colours got covered with white blanket.
Verynice Artur!
Right time to get this image. The snow that fell following this might have obscurred the evergreen trees which cement the foreground and solidify the image.
Nice capture!

What a spectacular image. The scene is one I could look at daily and never tire of it. It must've been a wonderful experience to stand where you did and take this image.
Great shot of something completely different!
I can't exactly explain why, but it so reminds me of long ago in Crested Butte at the start of off season. Before tourism & condominiums.
Thank you all. I was lucky to get this shot. Weather in Tombstone Mountains is very tricky especially this time of year. It definitely wasn't ideal when I was there and I was thinking about turning around few times. To me this image shows the beauty of the landscape combined with the mood of calmness and fearfulness. Just like when I was there.
Speaking from personal experience (my landscape photos were stolen and cashed on multiple ocations), I strongly recommend you NOT to post photos that large and make sure to use watermarks that are somewhat difficult to remove.
Cool shot. Is that spot right off the Dempster Highway?
I was up there trekking with a group in early September. The weather was a little less fickle then... You have a lot more snow in your shot than we had!
