The male 'Wood Duck' is definitely one of the most colorful of all ducks. As with most birds, the female pales in comparison, but does possess very striking coloration surrounding the eyes. Caught this at the George Reifel Bird Sanctuary outside of Vancouver, BC. this weekend.
