This installer is the same one that gets downloaded and it will upgrade your existing version, license intact.

The price is fine but I have two issues with auto updates: 1) I'm on a metered connection so unplanned, large downloads can be a bad thing $-wise, and 2) some updates have been known to break things. I'd rather let someone else do the beta testing.
