These are quite good. Congratulations on the captures. Great tonality, and I love the way you've worked the shots in the B&W conversion. I'm curious, what is the vantage point for the second shot (forgive me if this is answered in the thread, I've only got a few minutes and I wanted to make sure to comment).

The second one wins by just a hair... The isolated monsoon storm does it for me. I can see why you were excited about the lightning too!

My jealously level just rose 100X. Was at both these locations last Oct and thought I came away with some decent shots.... Awesome is all I can say before I delete my library!
