Fine job on these, Tim. I like both the flower shot. In the first you captured the elegance and the intricate detail of the flower, while in the second shot the soft light produces more richly saturated colors.
Very good job on the hummers as usual

You guys are killing me with these wonderful shots All beauties Tim. The flowers are stunning. Love the yellow glow and composition on the first . The sunflower is pure beauty.
Then here you go with the hummers on the salvia, great shots!

Beautiful set, Tim. I like the yellow glow in the background of the background. Is that yellow bokeh comes from sun flower in #2?. Nice hummers.

Super thanks Tam. Yes that is a large sunflower lined up in the background.

Tim you knocked this set out of the park with a slamming home run!!!
Your eye, your knowledge and your equipment equals exquisite set!!
I look at the white neck first on hummers ... Pulling with my two fingers on my retina iPad ...
What I see is and then some!

Out of the park BB? Wow you are too kind my friend. Thank you so much!!!

Something is wrong with #1 and #2, the birds aren't showing up on my old dependable monitor But I still like what I see
#1 is pretty careful and unique planning for that Rose of Sharon placement Tim.
#2 all the glory and vibrance and the very cool center pattern showing here along with a large dousing of pollen sprinkled below
#3 Not sure about the wing in the 'fore' or the one in the BG for that matter.......Look Pa, no wings and I can fly
Last hummer is great buddy!
A touch more NR on these perhaps but color and presentation look fine to me.
Holy cow, I just realized I did all my comments backwards What a dope!
Anyway
1 thanks for the ID I thought this one would stir a bit of discussion, either like it or hate it
2 I really like the pollen spilled below myself
3 another I thought would stir the pot. I have posted classic wing positions forever!!! I thought this one showed off the form of the bird better than the atypical fare.

Very nice results for a bad day. I'd take these lemons on a regular basis. Hollyhocks look good (assuming that is what it is). Lovely sunflower. The second hummer is a dynamite image. Well done Tim.

All are very nice Tim. 1 is super and it looks like you spent some time to set it up. Great exposure in 2, and of the hummers, the second is my pick ~ Ron
Thank you Ron. Yes 1 did take some set up, I was standing in a garden so I had limited areas as to where I put my feet. The results where an odd shooting position to say the least

Hi ya Tim, I prefer the fist flower versus the 2nd although the 2nd is an excellent capture. The 1st hummer is difficult for me to appreciate due to the position of the wings and the blur. The 2nd hummer is the stronger image.
Sweet "4"
Ted
Thank you Ted. I meant for the wings to blur and disappear, I thought I would try something different such as accent the birds body. I guess it isn't for everybody
