What's not to like? These are stunning! My favorite is the first comp of #1. In this one, my eye goes directly to the tree. In the second version, my eyes roam between the tree and the cliff on the left. Simplicity of #1 is better IMHO!
These are exceptional examples of what you can do by NOT going for the postcard look and making the weather work in your favor. These are great images.
Lots of credit given to your visions to imagine and see these processed 'infrared'. It would be difficult to pick a favorite but it is easy to respect and like them all. I will vote staying with #1 over the repost.
Wow!!! Thanks you all so very much for your comments here. I didn't think these would go over too well to be honest. I am glad you all have enjoyed them!!!

Excellent presentation...

Thanks Karl and everyone on picking #1 over the second version. Although I do like the second version of "I stand Alone" the first version seems to hit the eye a little better.

These are awesome. Very glad to see something different. It seems most commented threads are about night landscapes, come to think of it there should be a nightscapes forum!
I really like the treatment you gave them. They images really communicate the amazing moods that the clouds and fog create.
The I stand alone image could work great as a square crop also with the tree in the center. It is a stunning location.
Kenneth,
Trendy images can be good but get a little worn over a short time. There is nothing like a good solid monochrome image
