#1- Percé Rock- sunset from my campsite.
#2- Percé Rock from the boat taking people to Bonaventure Island.
#3 and #4- From the boat looking up at a small cliff-side section of the gannet colony.
#5- Seen from the shoreline- gannets diving on a school of fish.
Last of this quickie series.
Now back to the closet .
Thanks, Phoo.
Because I'm not a birder (I like to watch them and occasionally take photos of them), my arsenal was a just a 400mm lens.
And I seldom spent much time working hard to get the best possible shots. There were always other places I wanted to see.
So most of my birdie pics are "environmental" shots .
Lucky for me, because no matter how hard I tried, I'd never have gotten images as good as some of the people on FM.
Since I'm not a peer- I don't have to worry that so many others get the amazing closeups.
That's my story- and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks Ron, Ken, Birdie, Ratty, Tam, Kenny, Bee, Tim and David.
I spent about three months of summer tooling around eastern Quebec, the Maritimes and Newfoundland.
And enjoyed every minute of it.
I was shocked at how few American travelers I saw in the Maritimes (checking licence plates, don't ya know?)
An incredible destination, so close to the huge populations of New England, and yet...?
