Thanks for the comment. For those who may not be familiar with Arizona, the little town of Carefree is about 30 miles northeast of Phoenix. It has about 3,500 residents who live or work on the town's streets with unique names such as the intersection of Easy Street and Ho Hum Road. It's a beautiful area, and if you ever have a few days to spend in Arizona, it's definitely worth a visit. Here's a link for more info:

Also, even if you're not old enough to remember when the song was originally released in 1973, you've probably heard the Gordon Lightfoot classic "Carefree Highway." Arizona Highway #74 connects the town of Carefree with Highway #17 north of Phoenix. He was traveling along Highway 17 when he noticed the exit for "Carefree Highway." It stuck with him, and the rest is music history.
