Beautiful Bear, I look forward to seeing more of your grizzly bear photos, such majestic creatures. Thanks for sharing.
The summer is just starting and I am on my 3rd set of bears (I cheated and went to the deep south of yellowstone on the first 2). It is going to be a great summer. Soon I will have my 200-400 and then I won't have to juggle lens. Glad you like them. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
KCollett: I think he is looking for bear grass to eat. This seems to be the first food of the year. Dandelions are also a first food. Glad you like them. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
nugeny: Catching him would be a whole new experience. Glad you like the pictures. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Sunny Sra: I hope to find lots of opportunity for bears so as not to dissapoint you. Glad you like them. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
James McQueen: He is a handsome bear. I hope I don't meet him in the dark. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
OwlsEyes: I really like the first one. It shows his profile. Glad you like it. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Conrad Tan: Brown is the color of grizzlies ) I was shooting with the 600 and so he was quite a ways off (200'?). But he did look pretty tough. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
morris: He was a stunning bear - healthy and strong. Glad you like him. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
treebeard: Wait until the end of summer and then he will be up another 200lbs. Glad you like the last. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Desert Drake: It is very early in the season and he is just out of hibernation. The elk have not calved yet and the vegetation is just coming in - so he is hungry. But for a guy that has not eaten in 5 months, he looks pretty good. Glad you like him. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Holy! You really did well, Scott - particularly considering the ISO. I've been reluctant to go past ISO 2000. Looks like I should give it a try.

Henrick - I was surprised how well these pictures turned out for ISO. They were pretty desperate shots. I think they worked because the spent sunset was behind my back. Glad you liked them. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.
Now that I am back at my big screen - I think the pictures could be improved some more based on more processing.
