The Kudu and the Sable are such beautiful animals Eric. You did very well with them. The rest are very nice too - kudos to you ~ Ron ) Thanks my friend...the majesty of these magnificent antelopes is hard to deny. So when I hear one has been taken out by a big cat I have very mixed emotions...mostly that I wasn't there to see it

Your title had nothing to do with me stopping to look
Was #8 your theme shot for your title
OMG.......Leopard choker! Look at that eye, that is intense!!
#4 what is in the foreground..............poo balls
#1 is great, I love those ears in #3
Holy smokes, talk about natural camo................#13 takes the prize.......that is a real animal isn't it
You have my mind racing now...........Horny is definitely the correct title to your theme
Karl
Hey Karl...I know my audience all too well it seems Thanks for the nice words...the gorillas just sort of popped up unexpectedly in my consciousness (yeh, right )
Seeing a gaur bull was a highlight of my trip to India especially since it was abot 35F and friggin cold and the next most exciting thing we saw for hours and hours were trees!

Eric- if you're so horny, play with that mask. Oh...
Too many super shots for me to comment on.
Some of the kudus look smaller than the other Kudus. Are we seeing lesser AND greater kudus?
Nice work all.
Charlie
Masks, blindfolds...all the same. Now about the kudus...no all greater kudus but some older than others. The turns in the horns will be a sign of age...I think they can get up to 4 turns by full maturity.

Being a former hunter, I did enjoy looking at those beautiful sets of horns and antlers, however, with age came the inevitable selling of the rifle and finding out how much joy it is to take pictures instead. Loved this set of shots, Eric, and must admit that my all time favorite shot is #12. WOW
Al
Many thanks Al...and I'm sure the deer population thanks you for retiring the rife. The gaur bull is HUGE! Much bigger than the American Bison (maybe twice the weight!) That is one imposing animal and how lucky to get it then and there....it really is better to be lucky than good sometimes.

I love all of these photographs, Eric! I fell in love with #12 instantly! Gorgeous lighting, composition; so serene, matching my mood perfectly today.
I also think it would make a great print.
I long for a chance to take a trip and do some *real* wildlife photography like this (not zoo subjects).
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much and I am honored that you chose my post for only your second post here on FM. Zoo shots present their own challenges and you must really pay attention to the surrounds...that in itself makes one pay attention to detail. But I do hope you get to Africa one day...it is quite special. Of course, there are wild areas closer to home that can also be quite special.

I hope you get the desired effect Bruce...I'll take all the kudos or kudus...take your pick....I wish I had something adjacent to the bull to really show off its massive size. Thanks so much Bruce!

Wait, you think I was intentionally using a double entendre Of course I was just being literal Some times when life throws you a soft ball...oh wait, there's that double entendre again ...
