Can you explain that one a little bit more?
I just did a wedding this weekend and where the cake was at our wedding it didn't have any nice fancy back ground colored lights. I lit mine fairly well on its own but the back ground on mien is so blah..
was wondering if the back ground color in yours was added by you with another flash and gel or if that color was already there.
one way to get color in the background is to gel the flash warm and set your WB to that accordingly - so the subject will appear neutral and the backgroung cool/bluish.
I like the set a lot, too. Very nice creative use of light. Great work.
Wow, you've done really well, you should get out of your comfort zone more often.
Nice job on the ring shot, and 4 is well composed and lit
I like 5, the expression is fine, and the lighting is very nice.
8 is a lovely silhouette shot.
I like 14 but I wish the mike wasn't in the bottom corner, have you thought about cloning it out?
19 is a great group shot (I hadn't noticed the white at the bottom til vbourrut pointed it out. Nice colours in the cake shot (22)
These are really good and really consistent. You should be really proud of them. My only nit is that you used that wall too much (20,9, 7)however in the final spread it probably evens out. I just would have posted either 20 or 9, not both.
Great stuff. I'd be proud to have a set of solid images like this outside of my comfort zone.
I didn't scrutinize much, so the only CC that popped right out at me involves #18. The faces seem a bit hot while there are still pretty strong undereye shadows. Overall, it's introduced lighting didn't blend with the ambient lighting in congruence with the other outside group shots.

Yeah I think pushing boundaries really opens your creative vision. Good work!
