I understand what they want, I understand why they could want this. I understand why they might see some photos of mine they like and want to put these two things together. It's just not how I see the event of a wedding, what I want to do. Perhaps that makes me a selfish a-hole.

I don't see how it makes you selfish. It simply could be NOT your client. I'm sure there's someone will pick 'em up but.. ( i expressed the rest in my PM)..
When you get two or three in a row requesting this sort of coverage it makes you wonder if you're putting out the wrong message, hence my frustrations!
Perhaps I should be more open to such 'portrait sessions', and forget about the context being a wedding.
