Hi Socrate, glad to know its find interesting for many. I never thought they must be doing this to get rid of the parasites. Very interesting to know about it as well. A Bird study group in Singapore is also shared my video in there blog as it was interesting for them to study their behaviour.

Eric they are actually sand bathing on the road. You can see the jeep tracks as well.
