The local dairy farm/petting zoo is right down the road. It's sorta weird to have a petting zoo in the middle of Texas cattle country, but I suppose it makes sense for people like me who don't happen to have cows (unlike commonly thought - we don't ALL have cattle in the backyard). We DO have chickens and I hope to add a donkey soon; but alas, all baby cows must be kept at JERSEY BARNYARD, which is where we ventured this day: me, the boys and the BESSA loaded with EXTREMELY expired Cine ORTHO film and the super-cool CV 15mm UWA lens. Processed in my home darkroom, this is actually a film scan, but is soon to be a lovely fiber print which will be sent to Germany in a print exchange for analog peeps like me.
