NICE Dustin!! You know...they say (about wide angle lenses) that if you think your close enough to your anchor point.....get a little closer.
You nailed it!!!

Thanks! I know, I should have - especially now that I see how easy focus blending is
First chance I had to stop by in a while. Had to comment on this. One of the most artistic shots I've seen on this forum. Excellent work. You should definitely market this.
Beautiful, Dustin! Was this Dalles Mountain? If so, you're right. I was there Tuesday and they were good, but by Saturday the 80 degree weather made them crinkle. Ya gotta be quick in the PNW!
OTOH, Rowena still looks good. Both spots have lupine prime now. I expected it to be good there a week or two from Tuesday, but the warm weather pushed them open faster today. There's more 80 degree weather this upcoming week.
The worst part for me is: the Rowena winds and a momentary look away to change lenses downed my camera and tripod. Camera's ok but a little scratched (top part only), but the tripod is in two pieces. The wife said NO camera purchases so I have to wait for the replacement part.
Thanks guys! Was there Sunday AM for sunrise, which was pretty good. Flowers were still good, and I am heading back out there for sunset/sunrise for one last try at these - as 80s are forecasted the rest of the week; which will cook these flowers.
