As for the picture itself: small colony of seals ( ~500 individuals ) in Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve of Canada. I didn't touch the colours. Bad weather: wind, drizzle, dense fog, shaky boat on all axis, the whole recipe was there.
The lucky part was that they were all in the water for breakfast

Shot with a Canon 50D and 70-200mm/2.8 IS first version. Bottom cropped.
