We had quite an amazing show the morning of St. Patrick's day all over the state. The lights were dancing most of the night. While I took over 600 images and am just starting to process them I did try my hand at stitching together a panoramic from where I was taking the images. C&C is always welcome and thanks for looking.
Thanks Dan and Sunny. Sunny, this is 850 px wide, I know it is small but isn't that the largest I can upload on here? I thought I remember reading on one of the threads to limit size to 850. I haven't uploaded it to my website yet but when I do I will post.
Thanks again and good luck Dan when you get up here!
Sunny, Here is a link to my website for the panoramic picture that is larger. I also have a collection of my favorites from that night and a short 36 sec. time lapse taken with 360 frames. I would love to hear your comments on any favorites...it is so hard to pick my favorites since I really enjoyed them all!

Say you guys, 850pix wide is for normal shots. For panos you can go 600 pix high and let the width go to whatever it goes to.
When I first looked at the pic, I thought the same as Sunny...by capturing the starlight through the lights. Along with the streaking of the lights at the bottom that meets the mountain. It is a stunning image and ready for NG!
While discussing posting sizes with Sunny, I totally forgot to comment on your shot directly. I think it's a pretty cool shot, I like the way the aurora is just taking over the scene, but I do think it's just a bit too bright. I think the whole scene toned down about 2/3rds of a stop would be really sweet...
