So, I just got a black X100T the other day. I had an X100 a few years back, which I really liked, but I guess the slowness and quirks pushed me to sell it eventually. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, when I almost pulled the trigger on an M9 (and I will still get a Leica at some point!), but I thought I had to at least give the X100T a shot first. Well, it turns out that I really like it so far. I've only played with it around my house and neighborhood, but I'm loving the JPEGs it spits out and the size is a great relief from my Nikons.
Here's my first few shots, all Astia with Lightroom tweaks. Surprisingly, the JPEGs seem to be very malleable. I also just got the TCL-X100 today, and while it throws off the balance of this little camera, I think it'll be worth having that more portrait-friendly focal length available.
Gotta keep this thread alive! I took a trip to NYC yesterday and brought the X100T along of course. I didn't feel like I could shoot from the hip as fast as I might be able to with a Leica or my DSLR, but perhaps I just need more practice.
rattymouse, nice shot. Really like the tree reflection in the water. IMHO, with a tighter crop and conversion to B&W, I think it would be a really powerful Image. Good eye!
