And a couple more:

I like the auto iso and MF. Set the Fstop to get the depth I wanted, and that I could see on the depth of field scale. Set the shutter and then let the auto ISO deal with the changes in lighting as the cloud cover and evening sun changed.

Thursday up on Hathersage (x100T)

Disappointing sharpness in some (like #1) even at very fast shutter speeds.

So Ian, are you not liking the x100T? Didn't you have the X100S? I went from the original to the X100T and really like it! I love the manual focus on it. Very nice.

One from vacation in the mountains on the ranch we stayed at in New Mexico with the X100T...

Yes I like the x100T. Mind you I loved the x100S as well. The T works better with the adapters, with wireless and with the SP-1 printer. I miss the turning rear wheel of the original and the S, I guess just because I was used to it.

To be honest, the S felt as if it was made better.

That's interesting. I don't feel like like my original or S was made better than the T.

I took my "T" and wide angle converter with me on a motorcycle trip with my dad in June. It was great not lugging a DSLR around. Lightroom 2015 does a fantastic job with stitching panos together, IMO. I couldn't get the in camera pano function to work but once or twice on the trip handheld, so I relied on LR to do the stitches.

I've gone through every page of this thread and am amazed by the kind of photographs you guys and gals have put out. After going through part of this thread, I knew I had to get an X100 as my carry around camera. I bought one recently through the B&S forum and am blown away by the kind of images it delivers. I guess it was also a huge jump since I am coming from a Nikon D40.

I don't think all images posted on this thread are SOOC, but I will start quoting some of you and am wondering if you could either tell me how it was processed or point me to some helpful tutorials that I can follow to get these beautiful colors.

Thanks in advance!!

Lovely image. Is that SOOC? How did you get your colors to look like that?

Thanks, no it isn't SOOC, but not to hard to get. I shot it in raw, then used the "Astia" camera profile in lightroom. Pulled the highlights down, punched the clarity and vibrance and bit and there you have it!
