Boy, not me. Fuji is largely about the optical viewfinder, for me, so, if I were to buy another RX1 variant, it would need an actual OVF to compete. If not, I may as well just re-buy an RX1 and put an OVF in the hotshoe.
On that note, I wonder if Fuji would ever make an X100 variant that removes the EVF altogether in favor of a higher quality OVF? I'd consider that.
Interesting. I've used the x100 and 100s for a few years now and never use the optical finder at all. We're all different I suppose. However I'm guessing that most shoot EVF like me, which explains the XE1, XE2 and XT1.

I'd guess that most X100/X100s users primarily use the OVF, but who knows? We're certainly paying for the OVF option with the X100, because the camera would be a heck of a lot cheaper without it. I don't think a future X-Pro2 is off the table or anything, so I'd imagine that Fuji still finds it viable.
Was out in Baltimore this evening, and captured this shot after the sun had gone down (hand held). Unfortunately, there were some pylons blocking my view, and the only way to grab this shot from where I was located would have involved me swimming out into the harbor.
Thanks for the advice on the camera guys. I will keep it. Took it with me to the Houston Rodeo yesterday - it is SO small and light (and allowed into Reliant Stadium). Used OVF and handheld all of these...
i got to spend a long weekend in nyc. had a great time and got to take a lot of pictures with the trusty x100s. though i yearn for a faster lens at times, it is always again fascinating to see such a little camera perform this well.
Cookiemonster....nice NYC shots. I just picked up a clean used X100s. Took a quick look out back and played with "macro" mode. Still waiting for the snow to be gone.....

Katie, I really like the third shot in your set. Puts me right there in the stadium.
Another Baltimore skyline shot from last weekend (handheld - wish I had my tripod with me to get the long exposure shot). The fog is simulated using Nik. The X100s is a great little camera.
