I picked up a very nice Fuji X100F last week. I had the original X100 when it first came out ..the F is certainly quite an improvement. Having fun with this camera for sure.
I'm trying to hold out until I can find an X100V, but the X100F offers on here are so tempting. I have an X-T4, but really want a nice, simple EDC (like everyone else with an X100).

I stuffed KolariVision Gen. 2 850nm front filter to X100V lens and saw the most horrible PDAF-show ever:
I don't think this needs a crop for closer inspection. It's ISO160, f/4, 15sec exposure. Even if the PDAF would be removed, the camera may not work for this kind of IR at all. For it has a huge reverse hotspot which requires +2EV gradial filter push in the middle of the photo. I will try other filters next. I think I have 590nm and 665nm filters somewhere in storage and also some chinese bubblegum filters which let a lot of visible spectrum thru as well.
Just received my new-to -me X100V. I have managed to set it up pretty much the way I want with Kaza caseand strap, 49mm clear B&W filter, and a B&W metal hood. Definitely the best 'point and shoot' I have ever had. .
Good, you could even use it with without the clear filter if you have the hood protecting the lens. Otherwise it is indeed easy to bump it to some unwanted obstacle. I would use polarizer instead of the clear filter if additional protection feels like good solution.
