Double B, excellent images, may I ask what film preset you use on the above two photos? Thanks!
I'm not sure whether you mean me. If yes, I used the jpg in-camera profile, Velvia, color -1, shadow -2. For the red Vespa, I moved in LR the color temperature of the red chassis somewhat into blue as it was too orange ooc. This is what I often do for Velvia. I didn't change anything color-wise on the Porsche as the blue sky gave it the color temperature I like. No polarizer etc.

Did the original X100 sensor age well?
I'd say it has. Other than the lower resolution, IQ is pretty similar between the 12 MP Sony sensor in the X100 and the 16 MP Sony sensor used in the NEX-5N, NEX-5R, NEX-6 and a handful of DSLRs. Also similar to the 16 MP Sony sensor in the X100S and T, depending on where you stand on the difference between X-Trans and Bayer CFA.
Just recently purchased an X70
My main use for photography is whilst travelling and hiking in East Asia, e.g. Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan etc.
However my recent purchase has inspired me to wander around my home area of Melbourne, Australia.
I have previously used a Sony RX100mk1 for many years of travel, and I have extensively used the Multi frame noise reduction for street scenes at night, I am not sure if the X70 can get close to that feature, still learning.
However for day time shots, its night and day!
Here are a few from local gardens - lets hope I can figure out how to embed images!
Links underneath take you to my site with exif data, more images from the same location http://falseguide.com/macedon/
Recently picked up my X100 for a screaming deal from a buddy of mine. Been shooting full frame Sony mirrorless for a few years, and this is quite a nice contrast to shooting with that setup. Loving it so far - the perfect daily carry. It's only a matter of time until I upgrade to the X100F
Question for X100T or X100F owners. I wear reading glasses, usually +1.75 but probably heading to +2.00 soon. I have 20/20 distance vision. I've read the diopter adjustment is fairly limited. Are any of you in the +1.75/+2.00 range able to dial the diopter to a point where both the OVF and EVF are in solid focus (without glasses, of course)? Thanks!
What does everyone think and feel about the X100F? All the stores in Australia have no stock and I am still trying to get hold of one.
It is interesting to note on the X100F facebook page there are so many posts and photos. In truth this is testament to the fact that the X100F is really geting people out and taking photos rather comparing specs!!
