love it. 2 - wanna see some fill (coming from inside the trunk if to be perfect)
5...he looks bored...wanna see action in his body...still good as a story telling concept..
was it in Nevada? No banned guns there I guess...

@friscoron - Yea, I had a light in the trunk on #3, but not on #2 and #5
CMB - yep, we were in a dry lake bed right outside of Las Vegas. You can open carry in Nevada. I have a fill light in the trunk on #3, not sure why I didn't leave it on the others. We used three OCFs on every shot in the series, so they are artificially lit in all of these shots, but yea...regretting not keeping a flash in the trunk for all shots. Thx guys.

I think this is f. awesome. No problem with minor issues in the lightning or whatsoever. The concept, the poses, the couple.
Quentin would love it, I guess.

Ring shot is nice. Would have liked to see it with spent casings instead of live rounds.
Also, there is a tiny "hair" at about one o'clock that could be cloned out.
p.1 #11 · Somewhere Between Heaven & Las Vegas (thoughts?)
Thanks for all the input, folks. I did see that hair and it has since been fixed...Also downsized the images. I'm adding more right now so go back up and check 'em out!

Like it a lot, BUT not to be "that guy" but basic gun safety issues in this shoot... Having a gun to one's forehead and a finger inside the trigger guard is just never smart. If you're going to work with guns, follow NRA safety guidelines. Professionally you incur liability in this realm, be aware.
p.1 #13 · Somewhere Between Heaven & Las Vegas (thoughts?)
Cool concept. I like the overall feel of the set a lot, but I feel like several of the images are repetitive and a couple of them are pretty weak compared to the rest.
I'd remove 2,10, 13,14,15 and 17. The set as a whole would be a lot stronger then, IMO.

WalnutPond - Unforunately, the NRA would never be ok with pointing a gun at someones head, so... That being said, they're my guns, and I am a well-trained on each and very safe gun-owner, as were the subjects (whom are friends). All guns were cleared repeatedly every time they were set down, picked up, exchanged hands, etc. All magazines were empty at all times, and the only rounds that we had with us that day were in a bag to be put on the ground for the ring shot. There were four adults, all gun owners, all using proper safety whilst handling the guns. Pointing it ones head is part of making the images, and knowing that the weapon is empty means it's no more dangerous than holding a rock to his head. I appreciate your comment, but it's not irresponsible to properly handle a gun and utilize it as a prop for prop's sake if you are 110% certain (and verified by all four adults on scene repeatedly) that it isn't loaded. I am a very, very safe and responsible gun owner.

Haha, I know I'm totally harping on something trivial here, but next time if you do something like this again I would get some .223 and just pretend yours is not a .22LR, for the bullets shot. Looks so much more menacing than that little .22lr squirrel-shooter
p.1 #20 · Somewhere Between Heaven & Las Vegas (thoughts?)
TTL - all good brother. Unfortunately you can't get .223/5.56 rounds right now because they're sold out nationwide. I was lucky enough to get this rifle before December, and not overpay for a .223 AR. Damn things are over $2k now when they should be $700-$800.
