They were still working/welding on it as I photographed it here in Rotterdam.
I should go more to Rotterdam, great for industrial/harbour photography.
But those gates and fences (I have to try to approach by boat next time)

Nice crane shot. Very impressive crane.
Important trivia: Aegir was a Norse giant ruling the seas. Sort of a cheapo Poseidon or Neptune. As a simple giant he did not enjoy the high status of the Aesir (Norse God collective) but is said to have held really nice parties for them sometimes. Must have been wet.

Interesting to know how they came by that name. I hope they don't give wild partys while putting the pipelines on the botton of the sea.
Jochen, really like the painterly style you have in your images. Very tasteful dampened light. Last waterfall shot is incredible. As is Boris #11/#1, proves bigger is better than in the other thread.
