I disagree, yours has actual content in the image, mine has just a single group of leaves, the rest is a bit of a blurred mess. It might hold your attention as you scan around the image trying to work out what is what, but I fear it is more likely to just look a bit overwhelming.
I really wish I could afford to go back and shoot more. I shot a hell of a lot of photos but deleted maybe half as they had no artistic value at all. The place was rich in potential photos and it was difficult to take the environment in at the same time as wanting to shoot it all.
I agree about the different amounts of content in both image. What I liked more on your image is that the medium format look comes out better on your image. - Regarding the location: I feel the same about my images from Kyoto. Would really like to go back with more time and maybe in another season (probably in fall). I'm looking forward for more of your images!
Ha, but what a pano it is!
I miss real winter. We had snow for only one day this year, and it melted by late afternoon, so please keep posting your 'white' images.
This is from my film camera, a Rollei 6008 pro, with Rollei Zeiss Planar 80mm 2.8 manual lens, hand held, and shot in typical restroom fashion! I used a polaroid back, with fuji film. it is shown, because it is one of my decent first time photo's with this camera, and with film! I used my Epson V500 to scan and show, plus I cropped it. one is the original uglier version, and one is the more tame, black and white converted! Thank you, and I hope it is decent!!
Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but if you are using a PC, you can right click and select View Image and the image will resize to a viewable size. Don't know how to do it on a Mac.
