Of course, the earthquake affected all Japanese companies in 2011. Even then, Canon imaging sold 7.2 million interchangeable lens cameras, which translates into 47.5% market share whereas Nikon merely commanded 31% market share with sales of 4.7 million interchangeable lens cameras.
How do you think Canon's corporate profits will affect the resale value of lenses? I'm trying to decide which version of the 35 prime to get. I shoot mostly birds and architecture.
