Hey Conrad...
Sorry to hear that our fair state led to a nasty fall... no doubt it was due to an icy pursuit of an owl of some sort. Next time you're in my neck of the woods let me know and I'll offer some tips for safe winter photography and share some of my secret locations...
Heal fast and regards,
bruce
Thank you Bruce. You live in a beautiful and dangerous state

I was picturing you lying there and it is a very scary thought. Good idea to always travel with an ICU nurse Your spirits are amazingly high (as is your head on all the painkillers ) and I know that you will be back in the saddle sooner than later. But over the next six weeks we will see arguably every shot you've taken in the last year...good for us!
Good luck with your surgery and I expect you to post xrays of the leg...an FM first!

That is exceptionally bad luck Conrad. Hope you mend quickly and get back in the game. In the meantime, while you're laid up, I'm sure you have about 3000 unseen quality vault shots to share (and I don't mean in one post!).
3000... maybe... I will post one a day until I'm better and space them out

You are such a wimp Conrad. You are letting one little broken ankle slow you down. Real men don't let little things like a broken ankle or a missing foot slow them down. Just mount a roller blade on the bottom of the cast, and you can scoot around all you want, but mostly, take care and get well. At least you must have a bazzillion shots in your vault to work on... ~ Ron

Bummer, Conrad. Did your shooting buddy get any shots of them sledding you out? You had better stick to Summer if coming to Canada, since we sometimes get a bit of snow and cold weather.
Our provincial government has just announced that they are culling Barred Owls that are taking over endangered Spotted Owl territory. I will see if I can obtain a dead Barred Owl. What is your shipping address?
Hope you are up and about soon.
Tony
Haha!!! PM me for my home address Tony I do have shots of me being wheeled around a wheelchair
Ouch! I’m so sorry to hear of your injury Conrad. Now you have 6 months to create the longest post in Internet history. As you already did a post with 100 images in it and you got that up in a day, you should be able to do 4,200 images in a post in 6 weeks and not break a sweat.
Conrad...when I stated you raise the bar....I refuse to travel to the frozen tundra just to take an extended 6 week vacation (I only have two weeks anyway).
Me think I stay at a lower rung on the ladder on this one!!!!
My heart goes out to you on this one dude.....will truly miss your shots for a while
