I've found a few Bald Eagles consistently, in a small patch of open water near my home.
Have seen them rarely there in the past.
I think this speaks well for their recovery in upstate New York.
Last one for me-but they're all nice. It blows my mind that in the mid 80s I was reading books that said you were lucky to see one bald eagle in your life in the lower 48, and now I see one on my way to work more days than not. They've come a long way, now to get the peregrines recovered to the same degree.
Those look great. I really like the 1st one. I am surprised at the shutter speed you got at ISO 400 and F7.1. It must have been crazy bright out that day.
