The recent winter weather in the UK have given us some good photo opportunities.
The Basingstoke Canal near our home is always a favourite area for us. This is one of the old bridges across the canal.
Wonderful image, and the bridge is so nicely framed, Ute. Had a chance to go to the UK last week, and turned it down. You have really been getting some cold weather this season. Hope it improves soon.
Fantastic depth in the image, and your delicate touch with light and contrast works beautifully. And Ed's right.....that is a great tree to frame the scene!

This has an appealing bleakness about it. The overhanging branches have a bit of gloom that suits the still water and the deserted bridge. Very cool shot.
Beautiful, wonderfully composed image Ute. I would trade the shorts-wearing weather we've been having lately for a chance to see a scene like this... at least for one season.
