This is from last Sunday evening in San Diego. I got a chance to spend a few minutes before shooting with our long time member and a long time friend Henry Wakefield, so that made for a special evening. Now this is at the southern end of Sunset Cliffs, the sun actually had just set, and while I have some cool shots of that, I changed my composition up once the sun went below the horizon and I actually like this one with the way it balances with the clouds quite a bit. I was able to actually shoot some stars too as the skies were incredibly clear after a rainstorm passed through the area. Those will be for later.
It's well balanced and abundantly sweet! Great image Jim. I keep saying I need to do some shooting down there but every time I go that way it's always with the family. I'm going to hitch a ride with you next time!

very nice! When you going there next?
Thanks! Not sure when I will go back, it would have to be in Feb I am guessing. It would be fun to shoot it with you. It's pretty fun to get down there, you have to semi-rappel down about 20 foot.

Beautiful image Jim. San Diego did treat you too bad
Is that someone standing on the cliff on the left?

Hey Quang,
Thanks so much! Yeah, you have eagle eyes. That is a girl standing on that cliff. I thought about cloning her out, but left in at this point. She didn't stand there long and she was gone in just another few frames, I just liked the water movement best in this composition.

Hey Tuan,
Thanks so much. Yeah, next time just hitch a ride. We can have a whole group go as Sunny wants to shoot there too.
