p.1 #1 · Should I even post these pics of Yosemite?

Well, yesterday it was supposedly snow. It was snow alright, very light and DENSE FOG. But I was there for photography, so I shot, just some. Are they worth showing? well, you are the judge.

Love the mood in the first, not your regular Tunnels View. So in that sense it is a victory not to have the same shot as the other 50 million of us.

I like them! The tree in #1 is a bit too centered for my taste, though.

Actually it was intentional. All the trees there were symetrical and on the left there was no thing to show, the El Cap was 100% behind the fog, not even a hind.

Definitely worth posting, #1 in particular is great, love the composition and the atmosphere and different from the usual iconic views I've seen.

There can't ever be a "bad" day in Yosemite

Those are great captures & different then the "iconic" ones we see with tons of sun.....

Just curious, why ISO 8,000 to 10,000 ? Were they hand held?

They are fine, but if you have to ask... then why post?

Note I say that with a smile...

Perhaps a nice D800e on a massive tripod and ballhead, low ISO and long shutter would have made them spectacular!

Mrs tried to keep me at home because of bad weather. I told her it was because of BAD weather I was going. Glad you like it.
