Happy New Year everyone! Here's a few flight shots to kick of the new year. Gotta say the new 1DX makes this so easy. Just point at the general direction of anything moving and it does all the work.
I hope the sun is at your back and all the birds pose for you this coming year!
Outstanding set..all having the great dynamics of an IF image.
Some great eye contact from the Snowy, and that super wingspread from your "pet" kites :P
A perfect set....but the first is remarkable and I would print it BIG BIG BIG....great bird, great sky...maybe I'll steal that for my post
Oh, I'm third
Eric
Killer set Bro!!!! Shh the dx doesn't make it easy, you are just very skilled Oh maybe you're right Super set to start the year off with. Happy New Year CT
Conrad, you are just "I n c r e d i b l e"!! They are all gorgeous! My pick is the colorful flying duck .. For some reason, they are one of my favorite probably because I never captured one flying! Congrats! BeeBalm
The Buffie and Kestrel are the most impressive to me in this killer set Conrad... both against sweet BG's, both with super clean detail, and both extremely rare to capture flight poses in my experience. Excellent work on these captures buddy, 1DX or not.
Easy? First you have to see this stuff to either get a great one or tell a great story about why you missed the shot
Per our recent discussion I understand you travel to great distances to get your targets buddy but when you get there you really get 'em! This stuff rocks and blow me away.
#1.............just superb, what a wonderful gradient on the BG, a one eye strong look that is sweet!
#2 you and Arash post up some beautiful Kites but this truly is a real looker and those whites could not be better, love the shadows of the talons on the tail and those wicked evil cool red eyes!
#3 this shot could be isolated from the rest, it in its own way has a pleasing feel to it, a nice wash of warmth and low light make it rather attractive and interesting, well done
#4 No not just a Harrier but Mr H! I think I have seen one or two of these ever in my travels so you just keep reminding me how charming they are
#5 what a nice way to 'frame' an Eagle with nature and break up a boring blue sky
#6 I think you will have Tom Sanders smiling on this one..............awwww man that is a beauty!
#7 Yep, looks good on that BG and it is sharp, wow nice one
You keep this up and I can get off easy and just say 'These are all nice'
