Celebrating over 50 years of Bosque migrations, my buddy Brian took 2 yrs to complete this
life sized tribute to our feathered friends. The bodies were hand carved out of 100 yr old wood,
the mountain tops and river are crafted of stainless steel. It stands ~20' tall and wide, sentinels
guarding the entrance to the farm. Fitting a Sandy chose to do a fly by of approval, as I captured
these to share with y'all. The valley is filled with many such treasures, I'll be back with more. Thx
The last shot...is one of my 2012 favorites from this peaceful parcel.
Wow, Will. The "tribute" is a great and wonderful thing, my congratulations and thanks to the artist. And speaking of artists, your winter shot at the end is a thing of beauty. You've made a lot of cameras sing, but I think maybe that D3 (do you still have it?) has sung the sweetest.
Mark
Will - I'm liking all these but I especially like the flesh and blood crane checking out the iron. Real nice sculpture! I also like the snow scene. You mentioned a while back and it is a beauty!

What a beautiful tribute. I love the combo in #3 and the snow in the last is beautiful.

Thanks very much, Nancy. Sometimes we get lucky! A "V" of Canada Geese as well as a few Snow Geese
flew over while I was shootin' the sculpture, but the lone Sandhill was the icing.

Hi Mark, thank you kindly! The old D3 goes everywhere I do these days, they'll probably bury me with it.
Happy New Year, buddy...'Hey to Jim' for me.

That is quite a show piece of work he crafted! Nice shot of it in #2 and how cool the grab is on #3!
hey, #4 looks like where I live
Take care buddy!

Hola, Karl...he did great job for sure. When the light hits it just right it almost seems alive. I'll reshoot,
but methinks it's something that will be very hard to capture.
