Thanks! With wind chill the temperature was below -30, so it didn't take long to freeze (but much longer to get the shot).

Normally I'm drawn to abstract shots, especially when it's all white or all black / gray.

But this one caught my eye. I love how the DOF just makes the fore and backgrounds just disappear. Well done!

Harry, you're more patient than I. I lived in northern IA for a couple of years not long ago. Everything for miles around was flat. In the winter, wind chills of -40 to -60 (and lower!) were common almost daily. I tried doing some winter scenery shots out there and just couldn't do it. I didn't trust my lower end gear, or fingers and toes, to last more than about 5 minutes. Keep warm up there and watch those fingers and toes! Happy New Year!
