If your on the field you have to were goggles. Other than that just try to be aware of whats going on around you and be prepared to be hit because it will happen. O and make sure your gear is insured .
Some nice photos there. I like your second and last photos. I've been shooting paintball tournaments, big games, and secenarios for a few years now and often take the camera with me while reffing to get some good close-ups. One of these days I'll have to get some photos posted.
